This Brow Service Is An Absolute Game-Changer! Brow Lamination Is Suitable For Anyone Desiring A Thicker, Fuller Brow Or Just Wanting That ‘Lamination Look’. You’ll Never Want To Back To Normal Brows Again!

How does it work?

Brow Lamination is a multi-step process, where solutions are applied to the hairs, allowing them to be restructured into the client’s desired position. Offering a natural or full and fluffy look, this semi-permanent treatment lasts 5-7 weeks ( depending on hair growth cycle) and provides effects similar to microblading.

It’s ideal for anyone wanting thicker, fuller brows or to tame crossed or curled hairs. Brow Lamination is a game-changer for your brow routine!

Ensure you follow pre-care and aftercare guidelines for the best results!

A great way to keep your brows looking and feeling fresh, is to book a routine Brow Sculpt Package around 4 weeks after your Brow Lamination. This will re-tidy the shape and define the brows again with the tint. Then 4 weeks after, you will be able to book in for another Lamination!

Pre-care – Brow Lamination

Because of the chemical reaction with your hairs during a Brow Lamination and the contact of the solutions on your skin during the process, there are some VERY important factors to ensure you have/ have not done prior to getting a Brow Lamination –

  • Have completed a patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment (first-time Lamination appointments done within The Beauty Room Airlie Beach only)
  • Have not had a chemical peel within the last 5-7 days
  • Do not have a sunburnt face/have had any sun exposure 24 hours prior to the appointment.
  • Do not have any open cuts/abrasions close to the Eyebrow area.
  • Have not applied any Retinols/AHA exfoliants within the last 72 hours.

* if you have already booked an appointment and any of the above does apply to you prior to your appointment, please contact The Beauty Room Airlie Beach as we may have to reschedule your appointment.

Aftercare – Brow Lamination

Remember, Aftercare for your Brows is extremely important to ensure your Brow Lamination lasts as long as possible and your brow hairs are healthy! We recommend you return for a routine brow appointment 3-4 weeks after your initial lamination to maintain shape, colour, and hair health. We hope you love your new brows and your experience with The Beauty Room Airlie Beach. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

The Must DO’S

Just like your hair, your brows will need to be brushed and styled into their new position as overnight they can move and fall out of place. This includes after getting them wet.

This is essential for moisturising the hair, and maintaining that hair health as they can feel quite brittle after receiving a Lamination! (Please ensure you wait the initial 48 hours after your appointment first!)

The DONT’S

As well as moving them out of place and rubbing off the conditioning cream that is left on your brows after the appointment, the solutions can still be processing for 48 hours, even though the solution has been wiped off. Therefore, you want to avoid getting them wet, especially with anything that contains any ingredients that can have an adverse reaction or affect the Lamination.

For the same reasons as above, you don’t want to disrupt the Lamination.

This can result in a chemical reaction with the solutions put on during the Lamination process or can reverse the effects or damage the brow hairs.

This can stick to the solutions still working in the brows causing it to become patchy or react with your skin after having the wax.

Oils from sunscreen or sweat can disrupt the Lamination.

You can still wear regular makeup, but please avoid putting it on your brows. It is important for the health of your hair and the longevity of the Lamination to not disrupt the final processing (plus you can’t get them wet to wash it off)

These creams strip the top layer of skin and make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and other chemicals. This can disrupt the Lamination process ad cause chemical reactions to your skin.

It is recommended that you wait 48 hours after a Brow Lamination before returning to the gym.
