Depending on what appointment you have booked; the duration will vary from 30 mins – 2 hours.

Your initial appointment will begin with a consultation to ensure we are aware of any contraindications or medications that may affect your treatment.

You can book online here and select a date and time that is convenient for you. If your preferred date or time does not show, please add yourself to our waitlist and we will contact you if that time does become available. Alternatively, you can call our friendly team on 0448 160 702.

Please note we do take down card details at the time of booking. However, payment will be made on the day after your appointment has taken place, we accept card or cash.

Please note any cancellations/ changes made within 24 hours of your appointment does incur a $50 fee. Any no-shows/ cancellations made within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time will result in 100% of the total service cost being charged.

Pre-care

Please ensure prior to your waxing appointment you have no cuts, wounds, abrasions, or skin conditions that could affect your treatment. If you are unsure, please contact our friendly team for advice.

Please avoid applying lotions or creams to the area getting waxed the day of treatment, as this will prevent hairs from sticking to the wax and being removed

Please keep the area out of the sun and avoid tanning beds for 48 hours prior to waxing. This can cause the skin to be too sensitive. If your skin is burnt, we will be unable to perform your waxing service.

If you usually suffer from Ingrown hairs, it is a good idea to exfoliate the area around 24-48 hours prior to your wax as this will help remove any dead skin cells and help the hairs come out easier. Please ensure you perform a gentle exfoliation, so not to break any skin.

Please ensure your hair is long enough to be waxed (approx. 0.5cm long), otherwise the hair may not be removed.

Aftercare

Stay away from hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms for 24-48 hours after your waxing appointment. This can cause irritation to the skin.
Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for 48 hours after waxing to avoid irritation.
Avoid touching or scratching the area as best possible to prevent bacteria transfer and irritation.

Exfoliate the waxed area around 4-5 days post-waxing. This will help prevent ingrown hairs. Never exfoliate straight after waxing as the skin will be too sensitive.

It is usually best to wait a few days before moisturising as ingredients and perfumes used may clog the pores, cause infections, or irritate the skin.

Opt for loose, breathable clothing post-wax to avoid friction and irritation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most people are suitable for waxing treatments, unless you have a specific allergy. However, if you have a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis, getting waxed is not always a good idea. Likewise, if you have bad acne or are taking medication that thins the skin, it may be worth checking with your GP first!

Yes, we use high-quality gentle waxes suitable for all skin types. If you do have sensitive skin, please mention this to us during your consultation.

Our therapists are trained in the ability to wax pregnant ladies comfortably and safely.

Waxing can cause a little discomfort, but each person is different depending on your pain tolerance levels, skin sensitivity, and for women, where you are in your body’s cycle. Our skilled therapists use trained techniques to minimise discomfort.
Post waxing you can expect to feel slight tingling in the area and redness. Both effects will subside within a few hours. Our after-treatment cream is designed to soothe the skin and help subside your redness and tingling quicker!

Depending on each individual hair growth cycle and the area getting waxed, results can last 3-6 weeks. With constant waxing, you can expect hairs will start to grow back finer and sparser!

It is best to avoid shaving between waxing appointments, as it can disrupt the waxing cycle. Let your hair grow back to around 0.5cm before your next appointment.
